Our trackers and briefings are modeled from public data sources and documented assumptions. They are estimates for research and educational purposes, not official government accounting. Real-time counters are projections based on published budgets and reported activity, not confirmed spend. See our methodology for how each figure is built.

MilitarySpend is an independent publication and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or funded by any government, defense contractor, or advocacy organization. Revenue comes from advertising served by Google AdSense, which does not influence our editorial coverage.
