MilitarySpend serves a public and media audience. That means the work has to be readable on first contact and defensible on second reading.

We separate baseline public data from fast-turn estimates and clearly label the difference.

We aim for accessible language without flattening important uncertainty or caveats.
•
We avoid pretending to be neutral on arithmetic. If a budget expands materially, we say so plainly.

We do not invent institutional scale, anonymous teams, or proprietary access we do not have.
•
We treat public explainers, research briefings, and future premium reports as different layers of depth built on the same sourcing standard.
